Mrs. Mar garet Dianou and her six-year-oi l laughter, Jennie were found mur dered hero in their apartment in in East S4th street tenement house. Their ueada had been crushed in and their throats slashed. Police said that the murderer used a snw-ltke instrument whici almost severed the heads. The child's body was found at the threshold of the apartment, indi cating that she had attempted lo escape her aeeailnnt. The bodies were found by a man who said e was looking for a furnished rcom.
