CHINA PROTESTS KILLING TO BRITISH LEGATION Peklns, June 13 (By Associated Press) The Chinese government today protested by note to the British logatlon the recent killings and wounding of Chinese at Hon kow. The note emphasized the seriousnoss of the situation and re served full liberty to demand com pensation later. The Chinese note requested th British legation to notify all Brit ish consulatej to take measures to prevent recurrence of Incidents such as took place at Hankow, referring to the seriousness of the situation at Hankow the note pointed out that the Shanghai af fair Is still unsettled.
