I.angley. republican, Ken tucky, will face a ch:u?;e of drunk ennrss today before Police Judgf 1. M. Marrs, who heard the charge in part yesterday and who sen tenced him for contempt of court. Judge Atari's fined the represen tative $10 when Mr. ljntifrley, with an oath, declared that whoever swore out the warrant against him swore to a lie. The judee considered oaths in denial of the chai'gc as further contempt pf court and ordered him imprisoned for 10 hours. Mr. I.angley's. jail sentence officially waa at an end at 2 o'clock this morning. . The warrant against the Kentucky -representative was sworn to by -Mi's. V. P. llenritizie. A deputy sheriff, in making the. arrest said he found Mr. Vnsiey only partly clothed fit, a downtown building. Mr. Langley has been In the pub lic -eye on numerous occasions in the last year, most ot which dealt with federal Indictments against him for alleged withdrawal of liquor from government -warehouses. He was convicted on ono of the charges and faces an Atlan ta federal prison sentence. Recent ly his deposition was taken here on a similar charge to be heard in Washington in u few months.
