COOLEY WILL ATTEND HOLSTEIN CONVENTION Sid n ey, Ma y 2 8 M r. and M rs. II. W. Cooley left Friday morning for a two months trip thru the eastern part of the United States. Tho trip will combine pleasure and business, as Mr. Cooley goes to Grand itaplds, Mich., as a delegate to the national Holstein conven tion held there next month. Mr. Cooley is one of the two delegates chosen by the Oregon Holstein as sociation to attend tho national meeting. Frank Durbiu of Salem is the other delegate from Oregon. While away Mr. and Mrs. Cooley will visit in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois and will return home thru Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Cooley were iccompanied on the trip by Mrs. Cooley' mother, Mrs. L. A. Row man, who will journey with them as far as her home in Chcago. Mrs. Rowman has been a guest at the Cooley home for the la.st three months. POLK HAS FIRS! Stages will make connections at Derry with oil trains not served by the motor.
