(By Associ ated Press Latest advices re ceived In official quarter from Lisbon today indicated that all fa quiet In the Portuguese capital and that order has been restored after Saturday's short lived revolt. The attempted coup was started Saturday and there was violent fighting throughout the night, the movement only being quelled yesterday when the rebellious troops gave up their arms and were confined In barracks. The revolt was led by Major Fllomeno Camara, who had under him several hundred men, cavalry, artillery and Infantry, Many of the revolutionists were killed or wounded when regular troops drew a cordon about their headquarter and showered them with shrapnel. Lisbon dispatches nave given no estimate of the number of casualties, but they are saia to nave been comparative ly hl'h for such a brief period of activity.
