The egg market continues to maintain a steady tone locally. Dally arrivals are well taken. Better feeling la apparent In the local butter market with ship ments north keeping down the sur plus here. Standards cubes are posted a half cent higher on the exchange at 42 cents with other grades unchanged. Prospects of a decline here soon are not favor able. Live poultry remains unchang ed. Paulharaue, president of the Western Washington Fair associa Hon. died at his home in Sumner at 10 o'clock last night. The cause of death was perni clous anemia. Mr. Paulhamus was elected from Pierce county to the state senate in 190ti and served in the sessions of 1907, 190!) and 1911, in the last session of his service belnc elected president of the senate.
