lem club at the Institute which

of the Oregon Federation of Wo
men's clubs will hold In Portland
on April 29. 30 and May 1. The
program will include discussion
ot various phases of the -child
welfare, disabled children's hos
pitals, public health, Indian chil
dren and anti-narcotics questions.

with a huge Japanese umbrella
centering the room the club mem
bers and their guests danced un
til a late hour when tbe entire
group went to the Spa for a mid
night cupper.
Bright pink tulips centered tbe
long tables laid In tbe Rose room
ot tbe Spa. Covers were placed
for more than a hundred.
Six formal dances have been
sponsored by the club during the
past season and each ot them have
been affaire of social brilliancy
preceded by a number-ef delight
ful dinners and followed by eqnal
ly delightful supper parties. The
membership of the club varied
little from year Co year and in
cludes many prominent Salemltes.
The supper last night closed club
activities until next fall.
