pers. Ho then surrendered to the
police. Rhodes was remanded for
a week.
Zanni Gets Motor.

Zanni, Argentine aviator, today
received a more powerful engine
from the United States for his air
plane In which he intends to re
sume hie cruise around the world.
The flight was interrupted at To
klo on account of winter weather
conditions on the trans-Pacific air

Michigan yesterday.
A bullet wound in the head and
a brief case of diaries strapped to
mm, and weighed down with
three heavy pieces If Iron appar
ently explained the youth's self
confessed philosophy. "When you
set to the end of your rope, tie a

Coroner's physicians described
the diaries as amazingly frank
revelations of the phantasies of a
modern youth. The doctors found
a tragie story In the lad's confes
sions of his struggle against an in
surable diabetic condition and in
Mis consequent abandon and in
dulgence in things which a rigor
ous diet forbade him.
