In the second zame of the series the Portland Comrade defeated the Salem 1 1 1 - Y by a core of 11 to 7. This was the closest of the series. Up to the last minute or so the score was tied but two long shols by the Portlanders gave them the game. In the afternoon games played on the Willamette floor, the Port land Junior comrades were de feated by the Eugene Comrade club by a score of 16 to 13. In the second game the Portland senior team was defeatt-d by the Eugene senior five !iy a good score. This left both of the Eugene tennis vic torious.
