fovnd effect upon the tLssue of tho
body hitherto have run to waste,
but now, bottled, they can be used
tn conjunction with the gamma
rays, and It la from this use that
Greater renults are expected.
The alpha rays are very weak
and a:e regarded as negligible.

Each day the heir to the Mc
Cormick millions rifles at five and
for ten hours works a com
mon laborer in the Milwaukee
plant of the harvester company,
piling metal pigs into the fur
nace carts, going from depart
ment to department, becoming
acquainted.
For several weeks young Mc
Cormick has been working, living
quietly In his south side rooming
noose. A small room, containing
an frcn bed, two chairs and a
dresser has been bis home.
