Fred Legge, local architect who submitted the plane estimated that the addition would cost between $30,000 and $35, 000. A number of new rooms were Involved in the plans, in cluding an assembly hall. Legge proposed also that the basement be deepened by several Inches. ' It was estimated that an addi tional $5000 would be necetwary to equip the building. Members of the board Indicated that they would take the matter under con sideration and decide as soon bb possible whether or not they fav or building the addition and if they favqr it how the necessary money Is to be raised. Action waa taken by the board granting school holidays on April 10 and 13, the Friday before and the Monday after Easter. A note of appreciation was read from Mrs. Florence Chambers, widow of the high school Smith Hughes Instructor who died few months ago.
