Henry Ford today bougbt the old tools and laboratory equipment of Thomas A. Kdison and will ship them to Detroit to be displayed to the Ford museum. Workmen are busy assembling and crating the machines and var ious bits of tools and other labora tory equipment with which Mr Edison experimented and brought to perfection many of the world's moat wonderful Inventions. Mr, Ford purchased the mater ial from W. P. Rons, a blacksmith Ross bought the 'priceless junk' fiom Mr. Edison six or eeven years ago. Although Ross h.a made pood use of virtually everv piece of the Kdison equipment in his blacksmith ehup, this waa eo his real purpose in buying It. He knew It was "priceless junk," and that some day he would be able to realize on It. Many who pa seed the black smith thon today saw Mr. Ford at work helping to put the machin ery into crates. Mr. Ford has a museum In De troit, where he is gathering relire of pioneer inventions. WITH WILD WEST Seattle, Wash., Feb, 19. Kzrn Meeker, 91, Oregon trail blazer and pioneer of Washington, an nounced here last night he had signed a contract with J. C. Mll'er, former proprietor of a wild west show, to join a new traveling wild west compuny scheduled to levo Oklahoma City, April 22, for a tour of the United States and Can ada. The contract provides that Mr. Meeker drive an ox tram similar t one in which ho and his hrlde crossed the pin I us to the Orsson country many years ago. Last year Mr. Meeker flew from Vancouver, Wash., to Washington. D. C, in an airplane piloted by Lieutenant Oakley O.
