Feb. 11. Al though the white house wit li bel il comment, administration of ficials elsewhere indicated a be lief today that William M. Jar dine of Kansas had virtually been decided on by President Coolidge for secretary of agriculture. The Kansas delegation In con gress, wnicii once endorsed J. E. Mohler, also of Kansas, for the post, met and chnnged its support to Mr. Jardine. Members of thv delegation have been in conetrfnt consultation with Mr. Coolidgo, but they declined to say whether they had definite Information as to his decision. Mr. Jardine, who is a member of the president's agricultural conference, conferred with Mr Co-ilidge. Officials said the visit bad to do with agricultural ques tions but declined to go into de-tails.
