here by Lawrence W. Cave against
his wife and mother-in-law.
In hia complaint, filed by Robin
Day, Salem attorney. Cave alleges
that bis wife hit him over :
head with a rolling pin and struck
him on the leg wan a large rock
rendering him unable to walk for
some time.
He alleges that bis wife, Mae
Cave, left him in December, 1124
and later asked him to meet t
train at Independence. After i
fruitless wait he returned borne
and received a long distance call
to meet her the next day. After
another fruitless vigil Cave re
turned home and found that his
home bad been entered and the
household goods carted away dur
ing his absence.
He also charges his wife with
using vile language in addressing
him and of being unduly familiar
with strange men.
Cave names Mary Huffman, hie
mother-in-law, jointly in the coia
plalnt, charging that she poisoned
the mind of f.:rs. Cave against tm
and Incited trouble, threatening
to disinherit her daughter If ehe
remained with him.
The Caves were married In
Portland In April, 1923, and have
