It is gelling at 10- cents a bunch. . The wholesale price of cabbage has advanced half a cent a pound here but as yet there has been no advance in the retail price which is three cents a pound. The retail price of bananas hers is 15 cents a pound. The whole sale price advanced two cents a pound several days ago but the price to the consumer remained the same. Small and tender beets suitable tor table use were selling this morning at 5 cents a bunch.
