Myers, superintendent of the state employment institution for the blind at Portland, to proceed with the installation ot equipment neo essary to the enlargement of the Institution's broom making de partment. (adv) SCHOOL SITE IS LEFT TO SOLONS The state board of control at Its meeting Wednesday afternoon formally deferred action on the construction of the proposed new training school for boys until aft er the next legislative session. This action was taken following receipt of a letter from the Social Workers Association ot Oregon, which had strenuously opposed the erection ot the new buildings on the site tentatively selected by the majority of the board, pledg ing that organisation to support legislation before the next session. of the lawmaker making It pos sible to locate the institution in some other section of Marion eoun- tr.
