To call especial attention to them we offer these Aditorial It has been customary, since the foundation of our Great Country, to set aside a day in November for "Thanksgiving ;" to rejoice and be glad for our many blessings, and we feel that we can truly, be thankful this year, and intend to share our appreciation and happiness with our loyal patrons, and the public, who have contributed to our success. In April this year we purchased this business from "Meyers," with one aim and object in view, to give Salem and vicinity a Store worthy the magnificent town and surrounding Country. We expected not only a continuance of the patronage enjoyed by the firm, but an increase in New Business, and our expectations have been realized beyond our most sanguine hopes. ''(42lNkflMI Every month since June, when we completed our alterations, has shown an increase over the same month last year. We enjoy the distinction of being SALEM'S GREATEST STORE, but we are not yet satisfied, weintend, and Will work to the end of establishing a store in Salem that will be as thoroughly equipped and complete in every detail as any store in the West, and if carrying "Good Goods," "Playing the Game Square" and courteous attention, with prompt service, will succeed, we shall accomplish our aim. So far the results are most gratifying and therefore we shall celebrate with a Thanksgiving feast, a feast of "New," High Quality Goods," marked at "Lower Prices," with "Extra Specials," on "Good Goods in every Department.
