SUMMARY: In 2012, Wallowa County voters approved a 5-year levy to fund a Noxious Weed Control District. This measure will continue that funding for 5 additional years beginning in fiscal year 2018-2019 and running until 2022-2023. An estimated $160,000 per year would be raised by this measure. This would cost $19 per year for a home assessed at $100,000. “The estimated tax cost for this measure is an ESTIMATE ONLY based on past levy funds.” Wallowa County is a diverse landscape with valuable resources that are threatened by non-na- tive plants.
