Stephen Kliewer takes helm of Rotary Club of Wallowa County Stephen Kliewer is the new president of the Rotary Club of Wallowa County. Kliewer, recently retired executive director of the Wal- lowa Valley Center for Well- ness, was installed at the club’s annual banquet June 29. He also was the club’s presi- dent in 2006-07. He succeeds Steve Kliewer lays out his plans for the Wallowa County Ro- tary Club for the next year. One idea on the boards for the coming year is holding Rotary meetings in the evening to al- low participation for those who can’t make luncheon meet- ings each Wednesday. Rock the Rodeo Season! Diane Daggett of Enterprise, who becomes immediate past president. Founded in 1978, the club is one of 33,000 Rotary Clubs in more than 200 countries. The club meets at noon Wednes- days at St. Katherine’s parish hall and guests are welcome.
