Hall did the piecing and Marietta Herinckx did the quilting of the 76x96-inch bed quilt. Symetry and color combine for beauty in this quilt “Garden Ka- leidescope,” an entry by Susan Coppin of Joseph in the 25th An- nual Quilt Show Satur- day at Joseph Charter School. Cheryl Parker of Wal- lowa exhibited the col- orful work of Anna Gill- more’s “Dresden Plate” quilt at Saturday’s 25th Annual Quilt Show at Jo- seph Charter School. The quilt was made as a wed- ding gift for Parker’s par- ents and was finished in 2014 in time for their 60th wedding anniversary. In the first game, with her team down 12-10, Gassett came to the plate in the bottom of the sixth inning, with two down and runners on second and third. She promptly lashed a base hit that scored the two runners and tied the game. In the seventh inning, Bateman faced down the West pitcher, punching a single and knocking in the winning run for a 13-12 victory.
