having a drive-by dinner from 5-7
p.m. at the Joseph High School
cafeteria. Dinner is pork loin,
potatoes, applesauce, beans, roll

The Oregon East Symphony
presents its first major symphon-
ic concert of its 31st season
with “Worth the Wait,” at 3:15
p.m. at the Vert Auditorium, 480
SW Dorion Ave. in Pendleton.
Conductor and artistic director
Dr. Beau Benson will lead the
Symphony in performing Jo-
hannes Brahms’ Symphony No.
1, a work that took the composer
twenty-eight years to complete
(hence the title of the concert).
Also on the program is Richard
Strauss’ Horn Concerto No. 1.

Dashboard Dinner, 5-7 p.m.
behind the Wallowa Elementary
cafeteria. Each meal will cost
$10 and will be delivered to your
car by an FFA member. Meal
consists of a smoked pulled pork
sandwich, homemade coleslaw,
baked beans and a homemade
cookie. Event supports the Wal-
lowa FFA Alumni Scholarship. To

The Friends of the Wallowa
School District will hold a Family
Bingo Night from 6-8 p.m. at
the Wallowa Senior Center.
Hot dogs, chili dogs and chips

Portland Cello Project, 8 p.m.
at the OK Theatre. Doors open
