Sunday, Nov. 6 The Oregon East Symphony presents its first major symphon- ic concert of its 31st season with “Worth the Wait,” at 3:15 p.m. at the Vert Auditorium, 480 SW Dorion Ave. in Pendleton. Conductor and artistic director Dr. Beau Benson will lead the Symphony in performing Jo- hannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1, a work that took the composer twenty-eight years to complete (hence the title of the concert). Also on the program is Richard Strauss’ Horn Concerto No. 1.
