For lady golfers it signifi es golfi ng the day away at Alpine Meadows. Members and non-members alike consider their “day out” as meeting at the clubhouse early every Tuesday throughout late spring, summer and early fall. In the restaurant they drink VIKINGS Continued from Page A11 That was followed by a suc- cessful onside kick that caught the Vikings completely off guard. Umatilla had success at times with its no-huddle attack, mix- ing in sweeps and dives with a few mid-range passes. But over- all the Enterprise defense came up big throughout the night. The Outlaws offense also moved the ball well at times. Senior Trent Bales punished the Umatilla defensive line and moved the ball three or four yards at a time for most of the night. Senior quarterback Tate Olsen was effective in the short-passing game, connect- ing on nine of 20 attempts for 67 yards. We’re fi nding a way. We’re getting there. We’re still fi ne-tuning things right now.” Junior defensive back Trent Walker did his part to keep the Vikings in check. Walker broke up one deep pass in the fi rst half and picked off another in the third quarter. And sophomore defensive lineman Klint Norton disrupted the Umatilla offense throughout the evening and re- corded multiple tackles for a loss. This past year they purchased a new air conditioner, area rugs and outdoor large rolls of black plastic covering for the No. 2 tee box landscaping area. At the last meeting of the year Tuesday, Sept. 13, the group also decided to purchase eight new 8-foot serving tables for upstairs.
