A12 Classiieds wallowa.com LEGAL NOTICE July 13, 2016 Wallowa County Chieftain LEGAL NOTICE HEARING NOTICE AND INVITATION TO COMMENT The Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD) invites the public to submit written comments and/or attend a rule- making hearing on proposed rule amendments to the Grande Ronde Basin Program (Oregon Administrative Rule Chapter 690, Division 508). These rule amendments would extend reservations of water for future economic development. The reservation rules, which set aside a quantity of water for stor- age to meet future needs in the Grande Ronde Basin, are set to expire on February 7, 2017 unless extended in rule by the Water Resources Commission. The hearing will be held in the Cook Memorial Library Com- munity Meeting Room, 2006 Fourth Street, La Grande, OR 97850, on July 27, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
