Wallowa Valley Chorale to perform at the OK Wallowa County Chieftain The Wallowa Valley Cho- rale will be presenting a spring concert at the historic OK Theatre at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 17. The concert is free, al- though donations will be gladly accepted, as the Cho- rale is supported by these con- cert donations. The spring concert pro- gram is an eclectic mix of classic rock songs, such as the Mamas and the Papas’ “Cal- ifornia Dreamin’” and the Beatles’ “Blackbird” as well as folk songs such as “Camp- town Races” and “Goin’ Home” from the New World Symphony. There also will be some contemporary Easter songs, such as “Forsaken” and “I Will Rise”. In recent years, the Cho- rale has been directed by Claudia Boswell, Iva Lindsey and Randy Morgan. Current- ly, Morgan is the only con- ductor. The Chorale typically per- forms two concerts a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The group also has per- formed with the Inland Northwest Musicians and the Wallowa Valley Orchestra.
