School prepares for overload Special to The Bulletin PRINEVILLE - A crowded class schedule, to include noon time classes, will be the agenda at Crook county high school this fall. Registration next September will total at least 700 pupils, according to an estimate based on last year's high school attendance plus the county's eighth grade stu dents. Teachers' work loads will be heavier, school officials said, and administrative difficulties at the school will be increased propor tionately. In view of the expected over crowding, the school board will begin to make concrete plans for building additional rooms at the Prineville junior high school, at its July meeting. The addition to the junior high school will be made in line with a plan to teach the ninth grade in the junior high school, adding one grade to that new building and reducing the high school population by one grade. ' The possibility is expected to be discussed by the school board of the construction of the new rooms would presumably be of a specialized type, to include the shop and home economics train ing and similar subjects which are a normal part of the ninth grade studies. The school board will also have a number of applicants to consid er for teaching vacancies at its Markets DAIRY MARKET PORTLAND (UPI) Dairy market: Eggs To retailers: AA extra large 4M2c; AA large 37-40c; A large 35-37c: AA medium 31-36c; AA small 24-32c; cartons l-3c higher. Ol son escaped serious injury Mon day when the aluminum sprinkler pipe he was handling came in con tact with a high voltage power line. A farm hind on the Charles C. Miles place here, he had plac ed one end of a 40 foot length of pipe against a fence post and was up-ending It in order to get a rat ou. when it touched the 14,000 volt line. He suffered burns on hands and feet. The fact that his gloves, the pipe and the ground were dry and that the electric current passed into the fence were credited with saving Olson's life according to Howard Seed, line foreman for the power company. A fire started some 600 feet from the scene of the accident at a point where the fence wires grounded. The contact with the line was strong enough to trip the circuit breaker at the sub station, Seed said. One of Olson's regrets was that the rat, too, survived the heavy electric charge.
