Paator Sunday Maaa, 9 a.m., at St- Patrick's Churcds k your problems io Church this week miliums leave ifiem tfieel rr Ni, Ij?4 George Washington Prayed Historical shrines, as the one pictured here, pertaining to George ' Washington and also the accounts of his deeds while a general in the American Army are of great value as inspiration to the youth of this Nation, and his acts serve as fine examples for adults to follow. One of the facts that bears repeating again and again is that he prayed. A great soldier, a great statesman and a wealthy man in his own right, yet he could and did sincerely humble himself in prayer. There must be something to prayer, something more than mare wishful think ing, else a great man and a busy man such as Washington would have deemed the time wasted. If prayer was a valuable aid to Washington it can be of help to you. If you have not learned how to take advantage of this source of power, try the Church. The church of your choice can serve you in pointing the way to getting the most out of prayer. It has served past generations in this capacity and can serve you.
