Arnold, American vice consul with the diplomatic corps sta tioned at Sydney, In a recent let ter to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Arnold, of liend. Highlights of the trip, which Marled by plane from Sydney to Townsvllle, wilh an overnight stop at Brisbane, were a boat trip to Magnetic island, and a motor trip Inland from the Alherton tablelands, stopping at the large mountain lakes to swim. In the jungle to eat bananas and man gos. After returning to Cairns, he took a plane back to Townsvllle and enjoyed a two-day fishing trip to the islands of the Outer Barrier reef.
