Aug. 21 Petitions being circulated by a group of Redmond women asking for letter carrier service for Redmond al ready carry several hundred sig natures, members of the group re ported today. Six petitions are In circulation, in charge of Mrs. Walter White. Mrs. Frank Bednarick. Mrs. John Berning, Mrs. Viola Olsen, Miss Osborne, and Mrs. Charles De tloos. Any resident of Redmond who would receive mail under the proposed new service may sign the petitions. Circulators are anx ious to obtain as many signatures as possible. Petitions were drawn up by Max Cunning, city attorney, at the request of the group.
