Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the Hicketym home in Metolius. Members of the Sahallee club and their families enjoyed their annual picnic at the Cove recreational park on Crooked river Sunday afternoon. Dinner was spread about 1 o'clock followed by an afternoon of games and visiting. The Home Economics club of the Mud Springs grange served the din ner to the Jefferson county commer cial club Thursday evening at the grange hall in Madras. The dinner was originally scheduled to be held at Alice's coffee shop which closed its doors June 1, necessitating a change of plans. Miss Olive Crews, daughter of William Crews, was married tn Jim Bird at Reno, Nevada. June S. They will live in Prineville where the groom is employed.
