The vote was 876 in favor of the charter amendment making these pro visions, and 755 against. Six teen hundred and forty-one bal lots were deposited at the three polling places at the Reid. Ken wood and Central schools, but 10 which were defective in one way or another were thrown out. Only in one of the three poll ing places were the bonds de feated.
