' FORESIGHT
I bouKln ten utm by the Blough the place had little

in these. I knew it wasn't worth a cent for any purpose

a wide renown as being ultra-wise: 1 am the gossip of the
town, the sight for all sore eyes. I am the man who saw
ahead, who pierced the future's veil, and bought a bog, a
place of dread, ami turned it into kale. The men who said
1 was insane when 1 put down the price have changed their
minds ami now are tain to ask me tor advice. And ever,
always, I expect, as through this vale I tread, men's awe

congestion of automobiles on Wall
street was so Kreat a year ago that
it was often a difficult thing tit set
In to the curb to place purchases in
a car. This summer the condition
has become so much worse that it is
frenently dangerous even to drive
on the street.
The reason for litis condition is
found in the fact that shoppers and
cars making deliveries along the
street, finding themselves unable to
get to the curb, are now stopping in
the street back of the parked cars
and leaving only a narrow lane for
the passage of traffic. This double
parking doubles the dangers of the
street and should be put an end to.
Pedestrians are continually stepping
out from the vicinity of double
parked cars, delivery men walk out
with armsful of packages and there
are a score of accidents barely
avoided daily. Some day the acci
dent will occur. The fire truck, for
example, may swing the corner of
