No Law Schools in England. England today lias no law school In existence. Harvard's Law school Is not only the oldest ixNtlng law sc liool in the United States, but It Is the oldest existing academic law school In the English-speaking world. They have u professor of l:iw nt Cambridge, and a professor of law at Oxford, iu England, but they do not teueh law In the manner of a professional school. They simply lecture upu law. or en deavor to give a scientific preparation for the profession of law, but do not give a scientific, professional training. Decline of the Apron. The apron is worn today by tho woman wlio Is not ashamed to work, but In earlier centuries it was an artl cle of clothing assumed by aristoeracj and even royalty. The word has un dergone a curious decapitation ; It was originally "a napron," but tin! "n" became uflixed to the wrong letter Tlie opposite process occurred in "au ekename," which was eventually trans formed Into "a nickname." 'Above all, teach the children to saoe economy is the sure founda tion for all virtues. " ...VICTOR HUGO. START A SAVINGS ACCOUNT TODAY. IT WILL EARN YOU FOUR PER CENT.
