The peace con- , ,.,-pnce will end with an exchange of ratifications, makiug the peace treaty effective either Saturday or Monday, it was learned today. Germany sent a note to the Peace conference today objecting to the proposed trial of German officers who scuttled the interned German ships at Scapa . Flow, by an allied tribunal, it was learned. The Ger mans also renewed their objections to surrendering five light cruisers which France, demanded, declaring that it would leave the nation with out .sufficient ships tor patrol duty.
