' Farm labor problems In France are being taken np seriously by the Amer ican committee for devastated France, which has communicated the plan of Its work to the department of labor. The committee's aim Is to Increase the productivity of French farms as much as possible and to make France as nearly self-supporting as It can, so that the produce from American farms can be supplemented by grain and other foodstuffs grown at borne.
