Henkle oh her birthday last Wed nesday, the Five Hundred club oitl at her home and presented the host ess with a gift of a beautiful cameo necklace. Asters and other flowers were attractively combined to briKi ten the rooms where the tables were placed. Following the cards a buf fet luncheon was served. Club mem bers present were Mr. and Mrs. L. A. W. Nixon, Mr. and Mrs. McCuiston, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Mr. end Mrs. H. G. Farris, Mr. and Mrs. Guy .Mc Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Ford. The club wi'.l meet in two weeks at the home of Mr. and Mis. Farris. Evening at Card Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Lawrence en tertained Tuesday night with several tables of five hundred, followed by a buffet supper. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Xorcott, Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson, Mr. Meader, Miss Patterson and Miss Lawrence. e Wedding Dinner at Hotel Sunday night the Pilot Butte hotel was the scene of an attractive wed ding dinner following the marriage of Dan JJaHoy and Miss Helen Sher lock, of Paisley. Flowers in abun dance formed a prUty centerpiece on the table at which covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Malloy, Dr. and Mrs. Cousineau, Mrs. Sherlock and V. K. Mc.Corniack. Eastern Star Meeting Iu honor of the appointment of Mrs. A. M. Prlngle as Grand Adah of the Oregon Order of the Eastern Star, the organization Monday nlcht followed their regular business meet ing with a reception in the Masonic lodge rooms. Five hundred was in dulged in and delightful refreshments served by a committee compost"! of Mrs. L. A. V. Nixon, Mrs. J. D. Dav idson and Mrs. H. G. Farris. e Club Does lied Cross Work Red Cross work occupied the at tention of the Needlecraft club which met this week at the home of Mrs. G. Sellars. Regular business was dis cussed after which the club presented Mrs. Cleveland, a recent bride, with a small piece of silverware. A lunch eon was a delightful termination of the afternoon's pleasure. Informal Itirtliduy Party At the Altamont Hotel Tuesday ev ening Miss Eleanor Whitmore cele brated her birthday with a supper and an evening of stunts. The center of attraction was a lighted birthday cake which afforded much amusement for the guests. Music and an informal entertainment completed the affair. Those present were Miss Nora Liv ingstone, Miss Chapman, Miss Helen Sayre. Miss May Ritchie, Miss Omar Munier, Miss Beulah Kibler, Mr. R. P. Blake, Mr. J. W. Vaughn and Mr. E. A. Halvorson.
