Marshal and one Treasurer.

ordered away last Jail, and only a very
limited number, sent to take their
places. It will bo midsummer before
moro troops can or will be got in the
field, so they will be loo late for the
purpose of protecting the spring tni

requires immediate remedy. It will
pay in a pecuniary way, to spend a
liberal sum to drive out these savages
