of Orimci' Creek, in the Boise tniues, were

an eight-stamp mill, driven by water, on
Grimes' Creek, and in the Fall of 18G4 sold

Itumnson, Bibb & Jackson. It consisted of

.nagan's' claim n the "Mammoth,"
" Specimen" and " King;" lodes on- ix

tributaries of Grimes' Creek flow out of too
Grimes Creek Moun nine; the other two M-e
nearly on top of those mountains, facing. the
crock of tbe same name. The " Mammoth
lode is about four feet wide on an average,
