East Oregonian A7 PUBLIC SAFETY THURSDAY 7:23 a.m. — Hermiston police took a report for a burglary on the 400 block of Southeast 10th Street. 9:09 a.m. — Milton-Freewater police received information about the theft of tools from a work vehicle at South Main Street and Southeast 15th Avenue. 11:20 a.m. — A Hermiston offi- cer initiated activity at Hodge Park, East Highland Avenue and South First Street, for a possible fight. 12:27 p.m. — The Umatil- la County Sheriff’s Office received a report of animal neglect on East Mill Street, Weston. 12:50 p.m. — Umatilla police took a report for fraud on Mad- ison Street. 2:28 p.m. — A La Grande man contacted Oregon State Police after he found a dead eagle on the shoulder of Highway 204 near milepost 32. He brought the raptor to the Oregon State Police office in Pendleton, 618 Airport Road, where staff properly packaged and sent it to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. 2:39 p.m. — Callers reported burglaries at Ace Mini Storage, 82270 Lind Road, Umatilla. 3:24 p.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report for burglary on Locust Road, Milton-Freewater. 4:12 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to an assault on the 700 block of East Main Street. ARRESTS, CITATIONS •Umatilla County Sheriff’s Of- fice arrested Jaden Wayne Orr, 22, of Heppner, for domestic violence charges of assault and strangulation, both misde- meanors. •Pendleton police arrested Patrick Quincy Meadows, 29, of Athena, for possession of a stolen vehicle. •Hermiston police arrest- ed Noah Tyler Davis, 21, of Hermiston, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, hit-and-run on property and reckless driving. •Hermiston police arrested Alonzo Alonzo Simon, 27, for DUII and driving without a license. COURTS Sentences PENDLETON — The following felony sentences have been imposed in Umatilla County courts: •Jessica Richele Banker, 26, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to Possession of Metham- phetamine: sentenced to 18 months probation, 90 sanction units, 30 maximum jail units, 80 hours community service and 6 months driver’s license suspension; pleaded guilty to seven counts of Failure to Appear I: sentenced to 5 days jail, 2 years probation, 120 sanction units and 60 maxi- mum jail units for each count; pleaded guilty to Failure to Perform Duties of Driver-prop- erty damage: sentenced to 180 days jail-suspended, 2 years probation, $5,100 restitution and 3 months driver’s license suspension. •George Patrick Smith, 52, Yakima, Wash., pleaded guilty to Aggravated Identity Theft: sentence to 36 months Oregon Dept. of Corrections (DOC) and 2 years pot-prison supervision; pleaded guilty to 19 counts of Identity Theft and three counts of Possession of Forged Instrument I: sentenced to 30 months Oregon DOC and 1 year post-prison supervi- sion for each count, and $50 restitution; pleaded guilty to Possession of Forged Instru- ment II: sentence discharged; pleaded guilty to two counts of Mail Theft or Receipt of Stolen Mail: sentenced to 30 months Oregon DOC and 2 years post-prison supervision for each count; pleaded guilty to Delivery of Heroin and Delivery of Methamphetamine: sentences discharged. •Timothy Lawrence Haber- stitch, 60, Boardman, pleaded guilty to Possession of Meth- amphetamine: sentenced to 18 months probation, 90 sanction units, 30 maximum jail units, 80 hours community service, $200 fine, $2,300 fine-suspended and 6 months driver’s license suspension; pleaded guilty to DUII: sentenced to 2 days jail, $1,755 fine and 1 year driver’s license suspension. •Eric Scott Arbogast, 38, Pendleton, pleaded guilty to Identity Theft: sentenced to 18 months probation, 90 sanction units and 30 maxi- mum jail units; pleaded guilty to Attempt to Commit Class A Misdemeanor: sentenced to 55 days jail.
