have: “We expect to have a
team that is fundamentally
sound at all positions. Also,
we have a large number of
returning starters, which
should help us handle the
pressure of tough games
and difficult situations. We
expect ourselves to be a
good hitting team up and
down the lineup.”

season: “Working together
as a team and staying
healthy. We are very thin
on numbers, so we will
need to stay injury-free and
understand the importance
of being a supportive team
player.”

number one thing we will
have to improve on is
consistency,” Haguewood
says. “That is what makes
a good team a great
team. If we want to be a
great team, we have to
be more consistent in our
approaches at the plate,
on the hill, and defensively.
We have struggled in the
past on consistency on the
hill and hitting but over
the summer and in the
offseason, guys have really
worked to overcome some
weaknesses.”
