WEST POINT, New York — Cadet Jarred Cope has been
named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester, January
through May, at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point,
New York.
To earn the distinction, a cadet must maintain a 3.0
average in all courses.
The son of Lisa and Darrick Cope of Pendleton, Cope
graduated in 2014 from Griswold High School in Helix.
He will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S.
Army upon graduation from West Point in May 2018.
