7:45 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office sent a deputy
to respond to a report of a person on the ground near Boardman
on the westbound side of Interstate 84. A deputy found the man
was walking with his two dogs to Troutdale.
8:54 a.m. - The owner of a Hermiston business on East
Main Street told police someone is dumping illegally into their
dumpster.
12:37 p.m. - A concerned driver called 9-1-1 and asked the
Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office to talk to the driver tailgating her
at Umatilla River Road and Flink Lane, Hermiston. The tailgater,
the caller said, was texting while driving, and perhaps a deputy
could educate her on dangerous driving habits.
1:11 p.m. - Police and ambulance services in Morrow County
responded to a high-speed rollover on westbound Interstate 84
near Boardman. A caller on the scene reported the driver got out
of the vehicle.

southwest end of the Pendleton River Parkway for two people
who seemed suspicious. One wore a pair of overalls, and the
other held a kitten that may have been injured.
1:40 p.m. - A caller reported finding fraudulent charges on
her debit card at multiple Pendleton locations.
1:57 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to the Rudy Rada
Skate Park on Northgate on a report of two homeless people
harassing people.
4:41 p.m. - Someone, an Athena man reported, keeps
coming onto his property on East Darwin Street and stealing gas
from his lawn mower. He asked to speak to a Umatilla County
sheriff’s deputy.
6:57 p.m. - A male wearing camouflage pants and thin shirt
at Calan Road and East Highland Extension, Stanfield, drew
a caller’s attention after spending most of the day next to a
disabled vehicle while screaming and yelling at the sky.
8:16 p.m. - A Umatilla police officer at Chinook Avenue and
