Steps will probably be taken to deal with this class soon. 50 Years Ago From the East Oregonian May 12, 1967 Darlene Kuehn, 13-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kuehn of Milton-Freewater, will serve as queen of the 16th annual East- West Shrine benefit football game to be played in Round-Up Stadium in Pendleton Saturday night, Aug. 19. An eighth grade student at the Milton-Freewater Junior High School, she is an outpatient at present of the Shrine Hospital for Crippled Children in Portland, which the game here helps finance. She was first admitted to the hospital June 2, 1966 with curvature of the spine. 25 Years Ago From the East Oregonian May 12, 1992 Two Hermiston teenagers were arrested Saturday in Burley, Idaho, suspected of fleeing Umatilla County in a stolen car and of stealing two vehicles in Idaho. Robert T. Martin and Brandon L. Devore of Hermiston are suspected in the theft of a 1990 Toyota pickup reported missing Friday by Betty Snell of Hermiston. The pickup was found abandoned with trans- mission breakdown Saturday in Boise, Idaho. Martin and Devore are suspected in stealing a second vehicle in Boise, later found aban- doned in Twin Falls, and a third vehicle that was found rolled near Burley, Idaho. Martin was hospitalized after the rollover, and Devore was taken into custody in Burley.
