WEDNESDAY
•A rash of vehicle eggings was reported in Milton-Freewater,
involving vehicles in the 1500 block of Wilkenson, 800 block of
College Street, 100 block of West Orchard Street and the vicinity
of North Main Street and Northeast Fifth Avenue.
3:00 a.m. - A resident of Idaho Lane, Irrigon, reported
someone on a four-wheeler had been making a race track
loop through his property since 1 a.m. Morrow County sheriff’s
deputies responded but were unable to find the four-wheeler or
its driver.
8:05 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was advised
that a resident of West Willow View Drive, Heppner, ran off
a woman that was standing in her front yard. The caller said
the woman was driving a white older model pickup with Idaho
plates.
8:37 a.m. - A resident of West Joseph Avenue, Hermiston,
reported the theft of a gold chain.
9:32 a.m. - Stanfield police responded to Chelsea Lane after
a call from a resident whose 50-year-old son was out of control
and throwing things around. Police returned to the home at 6:22
p.m. for a second disturbance call.
9:51 a.m. - An employee at the Long Branch Cafe and
Saloon, 201 E. Main St., Weston, reported gas was siphoned
from her gas tank sometime early in the morning. She requested
contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy at the business.
A second theft was reported at 9:57 a.m., this time at the shop at
the Weston Cemetery.
10:27 a.m. - Drone activity was reported at a residence on
Canal Road, Hermiston. The caller said a drone is flying and
hovering over her property several times a day, and wanted to
know her options.

Third St., reported theft.
12:20 p.m. - Hermiston police were called to the BottleDrop
Redemption Center, 740 W. Hermiston Ave., after an allegedly

4:48 p.m. - A senior law enforcement specialist with the
Humane Society of the United States received a tip about a
possible dog fighting ring in a barn along Highway 206 south
of Heppner. When she investigated, she saw chains hanging
from a tree, a dog in the barn and cages stacked inside. She
requested Morrow County sheriff’s deputies investigate the barn.
6:05 p.m. - A woman trespassed from the Irrigon Shell
Station, 300 S.E. Highway 730, returned to the station asking for
money. The woman told a gas attendant that “she would regret
working there.” An employee of the station requested contact
from a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy.
6:21 p.m. - Hermiston police were called to the parking lot of
Safeway, 990 S. Highway 395, after an anonymous caller asked
for a welfare check on a homeless man who was standing in the
rain and screaming.
7:17 p.m. - A passerby reported a man inside his car in the
north part of the Weston Cemetery talking on his cell phone,
with the vehicle’s trunk open. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s
Office investigated.
8:56 p.m. - A Hermiston man who just moved into Village
East Apartments, 300 E. Dogwood Ave., reported three men
wearing dark clothes knocked on his door and by the time he
opened it they were walking away with a woman in a white
coat, but they left a white rock in front of his door. His neighbors
told him that his apartment is being marked, and he requested
contact from a Hermiston police officer because he is not sure
what is going on.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
