Beatrice’s goat was a gift from an organization called Heifer International. Children and adults can both help Heifer International give farm animals and training to needy families around the world. t first she didn’t think it was such a great gift. What she really wanted was money to go to school. ut Beatrice’s family was very poor. There was little money for medicine, clothes, blankets or food. School was simply a dream.
