Marjorie F. Ford Boardman January 22, 1956-May 6, 2016 Marjorie F. Ford, age 60, died on Friday. May 6, 2016, at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. She was born in Salem, Oregon, to Gilbert and Deloris (Dickman) Garner. Marjorie loved horses, the ocean, scary movies and sharks. In her spare time she loved to draw, paint and make crafts. She collected many things ranging from Teddy bears, Barbies, glass, and Ford Pepsi stuff. On February 5, 1973, Marjorie married her love Ronald Ford. She devoted her life to raising her two boys and later a granddaughter. She leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Ronald Ford; her two sons and their wives, Ronnie and Dellyne Ford and Donnie and Jolyn Ford; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brother and his wife Jon and Kathy Garner; a sister, Sherry Rodkey; and four nieces and three nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Garner; her mother, Delores Garner; her brother, Ronald Garner; a nephew, Alan Garner; and a brother-in-law, James Rodkey. A celebration of life will be at McNary Dam Park (across from the road the nature trails are on) on May 29, 2016, at 12 p.m. All friends of Marjorie are invited! A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Athena Christian Church in Athena, Oregon. Richard was born on August 16, 1946, the son of James Ivan and Rita Baker Pullen in La Grande, Oregon. He was raised in Wallowa and lived in Eastern Oregon all his life, except for three years when he served his Pullen country in the U.S. Army. He had a great respect for those in the service. He married Barbara “Bobbi” Straily and together the couple shared many great years together. He really loved his family and would do anything and everything for them. Richard worked for the Oregon Dept. of Corrections for numerous years before his retirement. Richard loved his Lord, and the open outdoor country. He really enjoyed ishing and hunting and expressed great excitement when those with him caught ish or shot the animal. Survivors include his wife Bobbi of Weston; stepsons Don Morser of Beaverton, Oregon, Randall Morser of Vancouver, Washington, and Conan Morser of Madras, Oregon; and numerous grandchil- dren including grandson Jared Morser.
