She and other juveniles kicked the dog to fend it off. The dog grabbed her leg but there were no puncture wounds. 9:43 p.m. - A Pendleton resident reporting receiving text messages of a sexual nature. The caller asked to talk to an oficer and said some messages were “creepy” and threatening. 10:20 p.m. - A Pilot Rock man complained about a neighbor’s vehicle blocking the alleyway behind his home, and the neighbor refused to move it. The caller stated it was not an emergency, however, he called 9-1-1 anyway because he was agitated with the situation. FRIDAY 5:37 a.m. - The Saint Bernard at a house on the 200 block of South Washington Street, Weston, came onto another person’s property, who reported the dog tried to bite his wife and also charged children. 9:30 a.m. - The Cozy Corner Tavern, 198 E. Main St., Hermiston, received a fake $100 bill Thursday night. 10:31 a.m. - An employee with Oregon Department of Human Services’ division for seniors and people with disabilities in Hermiston asked for a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy to help her serve a trespass notice to a prior employee. 11 a.m. - A woman asked to talk to a Hermiston oficer about the legality of operating a lemonade stand at Northeast Covey Court and Sixth Street, Hermiston. 12:45 p.m. - A resident at Brooke RV Park, 5 N.W. Eighth St., Pendleton, told police a neighbor trespasses on her property and earlier Friday entered her home. 1:57 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report that an ex-employee of Keystone RV, Pendleton, had a “book full” of identiication of other employees in a desk. 4:25 p.m. - A scam artist claiming to be with the IRS tricked a Pendleton woman into buying $1,600 worth of iTune cards and providing the activation codes over the phone. 4:38 p.m. - Another example of what dispatchers sometimes endure: A man on Walla Walla River Road, Milton-Freewater, demanded to speak to a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy regarding legal advice. A dispatcher tried to ask what it was regarding, and the man snapped, “I want to talk to him. It’s none of your f******* business, really.” He refused to give any informa- tion other than his name and number. 6:33 p.m. - A 9-1-1- caller reported a man and woman were ighting in a white van at West Baggett and Sunshine lanes, Hermiston. 6:40 p.m. - Another 9-1-1 caller reported two males fought at the Pendleton Little League Park on the 1900 block of Southeast Byers Avenue. 8:32 p.m. - A resident of Walla Walla River Road, Milton-Freewater, reported a man came onto his property and would not leave. The caller said the man pushed him aside, continued onto the property, claimed it was public property and used profanity in front of the caller’s wife and daughter. The trespasser walked from River Road and threatened to assault the caller if he touched him or got in his way. The caller said this was the second time he has spoken to the man and requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy. SATURDAY 5:51 a.m. - An employee of NewlyWed Foods, 501 N.W. 36th St., Pendleton, reported several cars had windows broken during the night. 6:58 a.m. - A woman staying at the Tillicum Inn, 1481 Sixth St., Umatilla, told police someone slashed her vehicle’s tires during the night. 11:27 a.m. - A caller asked Pendleton police to check on a man suffering mental illness who may not be taking his medication and accused another man of killing a person who still was very much alive. 11:58 a.m. - An older white man driving a late model Dodge 2500 pickup dumped a white bag in a dumpster on West Hermiston Ave, Hermiston, according to a 9-1-1 caller, and kittens were in the bag, 5:28 p.m. - A Helix Neighborhood Watch member on Harrison Street reported the occupant of a “little silver car” claimed to work for DirecTV but had fake identiication and no logo on the car. The caller also said the salesperson was now at a neighbor’s house. 6:12 p.m. - A woman on West Columbia Lane, Hermiston, called 9-1-1- because her 33-year-old son assaulted her husband. 8:34 p.m. - Those darn goats in Pendleton got out again. This time, 100-150 goats ran along the Pendleton River Parkway near Southeast 17th Street toward the Little League park. A caller about 15 minutes later reported trying to round-up the goat. 9:07 p.m. - A woman on Lind Road Hermiston, said an acquaintance took her blue 2000 Toyota Corolla several days ago and has not returned it. 10:40 p.m. - An employee of employee at Circle K, 1430 N. First St., Hermiston, stayed inside the business until a customer who threatened violence left in a dark colored compact car.
