DP$PDQWROGWKH8PDWLOOD&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FH a neighbor on Hat Rock Road, Hermiston, came over and made threatening statements to his wife. 10:06 a.m. - A mother in Athena reported her daughter was “freaking out” and verbally abusive. 11:19 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater woman reported an insurance company fraudulently removed $238 a month from her savings account from May to December 2015. 11:21 a.m. - A Heppner man reported another man mouthed off to him and threatened to throw a rock at him. DP7KH0RUURZ&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHUHFHLYHGD call of a vicious dog on Southwest Wyoming Avenue, Irrigon, that has now formed a pack. 2:49 p.m. - A caller told Umatilla police a woman she did not know assaulted her last Friday. 3:51 p.m. - A caller reported an SUV attempted to hit her at a stop sign. The vehicle parked in front of the Hermiston Public Library and the driver went inside. 4:40 p.m. - An Athena caller reported someone changed the spark plugs in his car. 6:22 p.m. - A Hermiston woman wired $2,000 to someone in the Philippines claiming to be her grandchild and then reported the fraud to Hermiston Police. 7:21 p.m. - Continual threats from a dog prompted a Hermiston man on East Punkin Center Road to call the 8PDWLOOD&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHDERXWKLVULJKWVWRGHDOZLWK the problem. 7:41 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater man on Weis Road reported someone dumped a load of combine tires on his property. The ¿UHFUHZVPDUNHGWKHFDOOIRULQIRUPDWLRQRQO\DQGUHWXUQHGWR the station without disturbing the residents and their evening. 9 p.m. - Umatilla police received another complaint about a dog always barking, this time on the 700 block of Chinook Court. 9:13 p.m. - Occupants in a white older Toyota 4-Runner in Athena need to turn down their music at night. A caller reported the vehicle blares music several times a night from the city park. Antonio Jimenez Jr., 27, was born May 2, 1988, in Pendleton and died on Saturday, March 19, 2016, in Richland, Wash. Antonio was known as Tony to his family and friends. Tony was born to Antonio Jimenez Sr. and Florinda Jimenez. He was the youngest of four siblings. He received his GED in 2008. In 2013, he attended BMCC and EHFDPHDFHUWL¿HG welder, receiving KLV FHUWL¿FDWH LQ 2014. At the time of his passing, he was working Jimenez at RDF Troughs in Pilot Rock. He loved welding and took great pride in working for the Doherty family and excelling in his welding skills. Tony was full of life and RYHUÀRZLQJ ZLWK FKDULVPD He had many great qualities but above all, he was a great son, great father, great brother and friend. For these reasons and more, he was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Antonio Jimenez III, Xavier Jimenez and ARRESTS, CITATIONS $:HVW/LQQFRXSOHGURYHWKURXJK3HQGOHWRQZKHDW¿HOGV trying to get away from an Oregon State Police trooper. Paul Noel Bowen, 47, and his wife, Danielle Ranee Bowen, 34, ended up in the Umatilla County Jail. Trooper Mario Arroyo just after 3 p.m. tried to stop a 1999 Ford Explorer on the westbound side of Interstate 84 near milepost 200, about seven miles west of Pendleton, according to a bulletin from state police. The driver, though, headed off URDGDQGGURYHWKURXJKZKHDW¿HOGVWKHQGURYHRQWR$LUSRUW Road. State police pursued, and the Ford stopped about a mile later. Troopers searched the driver, Paul Bowen, and found stolen property, methamphetamine and prescription medica- tion that was not his or his wife’s, according to the bulletin. Police arrested each Bowen on warrants and Paul %RZHQIRUIHORQ\DWWHPSWWRÀHHUHFNOHVVGULYLQJUHFNOHVV endangering, possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance and theft by receiving. Eliana Ruby Jimenez; parents Antonio Jimenez Sr. and Florinda Jimenez; grandparents Alberto and Clementina Enriquez; sisters Rocio Jimenez and Marisol Jimenez; and brothers Gerardo Jimenez and Daniel Jimenez. He was preceded in death by his sister Gloria; his grandparents, Jose and Trinidad Jimenez; and his canine companion Achilles. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016, at Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop, 131 S.E. Byers Ave., Pend- leton. Immediately following will be a graveside service at Olney Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. His family would like to thank everyone for all their help and kind words, and for being there through such a trying time.
