RECORDS Thursday, February 11, 2016 PUBLIC SAFETY LOG TUESDAY 6:46 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater caller reported someone broke into her car on the 100 block of Southeast 12th Avenue and stole a case of soda pop. 8:50 a.m. - A mobile home owner at Villadom Mobile Home Park, Milton-Freewater, reported the theft of his generator. 11:30 a.m. - An ex-husband went to a residence on Winesap Road, Milton-Freewater, and threatened to kill his ex-wife, then left on foot. The ex-wife’s grandmother reported the threat about 15 minutes later. 11:52 p.m. - The victim of an assault sought treatment at the emergency department at Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston. Staff reported the 59-year-old man suffered abrasions but did not need stitches and he needed to make a police report. 12:21 p.m. - A female broke items in a Umatilla store, threw an employee out the door and then took off in a vehicle. 12:37 p.m. - Two men went to a home on Buffalo Lane, Hermiston, yelled at a man there and threatened to beat him. A caller asked the Umatilla County Sheriff’s 2f¿ce to send a deputy. 12:28 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s 2f¿ce received a report of animal neglect and abuse at property on Birch Creek Road, Pendleton. The sheriff’s of¿ce determined there was no foundation for the complaint. 12:50 p.m. - An Irrigon man reported a burglary and theft of a lawn mower at a residence he owns on West Fourth Road. 1:13 p.m. - Someone stole the change mechanism from the soda pop machine outside the Ione Market, 285 W. Main St., Ione. 2:32 p.m. - A male wearing a hat and a mask with eye holes tried to open a woman’s door on Southeast Fourth Street, Hermiston. Law enforcement was not able to ¿nd the mask wearer. 2:45 p.m. - Would-be golfers at Roy Raley Park, Pendleton, hit golf balls from the gazebo, which pelted buildings in the area. 3:29 p.m. - A caller from the Boardman coal ¿re power plant asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s 2f¿ce to send an extra patrol around 5:30 a.m. to Tower Road near the facility because there can be 1,500 vehicles on the road then, and several of the drivers are reckless. 4:44 p.m. - A resident outside Heppner reported his horses were in a lather and one had claw marks on the hindquarters but no blood. He said his dog also has been missing for a few days and suspected a mountain lion was harassing his animals. 5:43 p.m. - Pendleton Ambulance Service took a woman having a possible heart attack to St. Anthony Hospital. 6:13 p.m. - A woman at Pendleton Square Apartments, 300 S.W. 28th Drive, reported her ex-boyfriend threatened to enter her house and take her belongings. 7:01 p.m. - Umatilla police received a report that a man threatened to kill his wife and burn the residence down with her in it. ARRESTS, CITATIONS Milton-Freewater police arrested Shawnessy Sullivan, 21, of 202 N.W. Fifth Ave., Milton-Freewater, on a warrant and for drug conspiracy and possession of methamphetamine. Umatilla Tribal Police Department arrested Clayton Dean Johnson, 54, no address provided, for assault, harassment and domestic abuse. Umatilla police arrested Roger William Shipley, 49, no address provided, on a felony warrant and for possession of methamphetamine. Pendleton student named to honor list LA JUNTA, Colo. — Sharayah L. Lehnert of Pendleton was one of 31 students named to the Vice President’s Honor List at Otero Junior College for fall semester 2015. To achieve distinction on the Vice President’s Honor List, students must (1) have completed a minimum of 12 hours of graded courses with a 3.75-3.99 grade point average, without any incomplete grades or withdrawal from any course attempted. Lehnert is pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing and is on track to graduate this May.
