The caller asked police to check out what was going on. •A Pilot Rock resident on East Birch Creek Road at 9:24 a.m. reported the theft of 43 weights that hang from the water hoses on his watering system. •A caller at 2:07 p.m. reported a dog suffering neglect at Hailey Place Apartments on Southwest 30th Street, Pendleton. •An employee of the Cigarette Store, 1580 Sixth St., Umatilla, told police at 2:12 p.m. it looked like a customer dropped a small bundle of drugs. Police seized a clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance. •Pendleton police at 3:01 p.m. received a call from the emergency department of St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton, about a 12-year-old boy who was out of control and verbally assaulted people. •The emergency department of Providence St. Mary Medical &HQWHU:DOOD:DOODWROGWKH8PDWLOOD&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHDW 3:02 p.m. that a 3-year-old girl from Milton-Freewater was in the hospital’s emergency department because her aunt’s dog bit her on the head and lips. •A nurse from St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton, told police at 8:26 p.m. she was following a supervisor’s instructions to report a 12-year-old boy assaulted her. •A man at 11:41 p.m. reported the theft of his Coleman side-by-side all-terrain vehicle from his residence on Southwest Fifth Street, Pendleton. SATURDAY •A woman on Prindle Loop Road, Hermiston, at 8:57 a.m. WROGWKH8PDWLOOD&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHKHUQHLJKERUVVSUD\HG chemical in their own driveway, and she has told them she is chemically sensitive and she already has gone to court about this issue. •A man at 9:11 a.m. told Pendleton police he went to retrieve his 2010 silver Mercury Milan from where he left it at a friend’s house on Southeast Seventh Street and someone spray painted the car. •A Pendleton resident of Northwest Johns Lane at 10:21 a.m. asked police for help dealing with a surprise guest — a peacock on her front porch. •A Pendleton man at 10:32 a.m. told police his neighbor’s children on the 300 block of Southwest 28th Drive dumped a bucket full of dog feces in his yard. $6WDQ¿HOGUHVLGHQWDWSPUHSRUWHGVRPHRQHVSUD\HG her garden on Hazel Lane with what looks like white wash paint. 7KH8PDWLOOD&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHDWSPUHFHLYHGD report of a man beating a woman on West Washington Street, Athena. •A Hermiston-area caller at 8:59 p.m. reported people west of his residence on Gun Club Lane were burning tires or plastic, either of which would violate clean air laws. A caller at 9:43 p.m. reported he was punched in the face about two hours ago while he was dealing with a girl who had a seizure. The information did not say who punched him. 7KH8PDWLOOD&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHDWSPUHFHLYHGD report that a felon may have received a shotgun. SUNDAY •A man at 8:43 a.m. told Pendleton police someone ransacked his 1993 Honda Accord at Pendleton Riverside Apartments, 1300 N.W. Carden Ave., and stole the stereo from it. 7KH0RUURZ&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHLVLQYHVWLJDWLQJD¿JKW that occurred at about 3:30 p.m. at the Irrigon Shell station. The ¿JKWPD\KDYHLQYROYHGJDQJPHPEHUV •A Pendleton-area resident on Adams Road at 3:40 p.m. reported someone poisoned her dogs. She said both barked all night and then in the morning were on her front porch, dead. •Pilot Rock police at 4:12 p.m. received a report of stalking and began an investigation. •A woman at 6:09 p.m. told Pendleton police her boyfriend the previous night cut her leg with a knife while he was drunk. •A woman at about 8 p.m. tried to commit suicide at the Sub Zero Motel, Irrigon. The Morrow County dispatch center received a 9-1-1 call, but no one spoke. The center called back and a woman answered and said she wanted to kill herself and took an overdose of methamphetamine. Nearby emergency services responded and an ambulance rushed her to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston. Main St., Boardman. City police and Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded, and Boardman police arrested 20-year-old Pablo Cox Perez, no address provided, and booked him into the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. •Oregon State Police caught a local motorcyclist after he zoomed to 105 mph while driving with a passenger. A trooper on Highway 11 near milepost 7 at 9:34 p.m. spotted a Kawasaki EX-6 doing 89 mph through the 55 mph zone, DFFRUGLQJWRVWDWHSROLFH7KHRI¿FHUKLWKLVOLJKWVDVKHRYHUWRRN the motorcyclist, who turned onto Highway 331. The driver continued and sped by vehicles in a no-pass zone until stopping at Mission Market on at Highway 331 and Mission Road. Aaron Eagle Watchman, 33, of Pendleton, told the trooper he thought it was safer to stop further down the highway, then later said he made a mistake. The trooper arrested Watchman for attempt to elude police in a vehicle, a felony, and recklessly endangering another and reckless driving, both misdemeanors. Umatilla Tribal Police allowed Watchman’s passenger, a 28-year-old woman, to go free after making sure she had no warrants. Saturday •Milton-Freewater police arrested a man after others reported he pulled a knife on a man. Police at 8:27 p.m. received a call to respond to 113 S.W. Fourth Ave. for a male with a knife trying to stab another male. 2I¿FHUVGHWHUPLQHGWKHWZRDUJXHGDQGWKHQ/XLV)HOLSH3DODFLRV Amaya, 60, of Milton-Freewater, threatened the other man with what is described as a “large knife.” Police also reported Palacios Amaya’s sister disarmed him before anyone got hurt.
